Hello Again!

First of all, thank you so much for your patience while we've been working with this extraordinarily stubborn guest book technical problem. Right up front I'll get past the bad news, in the process of manipulating the code, some 60 of the most recent posts were lost. I want to encourage you to please replace them as best you can. We're sick about the loss and made every effort to restore them but they are gone. We are still experiencing problems with the photo feature but have activated it and ask that you post your photos freely. Expect problems! We do ... but hope the use of this faulty function will help us get to the bottom of the failure. You'll most likely see your thumbnail but will not be able to view the full sized image. We'll correct those connections manually as time allows, this will mean a delay of a day at least. Hang in there, we're getting close.

Glad to have you back with us! NOTR Crew

Título: What The World Needs Now Is Love
Letra De What The World Needs Now Is Love

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No not just for some but for everyone.

Lord, we don't need another mountain,
There are mountains and hillsides enough to climb
There are oceans and rivers enough to cross,
Enough to last till the end of time.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No, not just for some but for everyone.

Lord, we don't need another meadow
There are cornfields and wheat fields enough to grow
There are sunbeams and moonbeams enough to shine
Oh listen, lord, if you want to know.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No, not just for some but for everyone.

No, not just for some, oh, but just for everyone

Good Morning Ted,Morgan,& Everyone!!
A new day is dawning, and I send my
very best to all this day! I have been
trying to post this for several days, and it wouldn't take,so today, maybe...
I've been on a 'slight vacation' from here for over a week - last weekend was
my 45th high school reunion (did you go
to yours Ted?). We were on a lake near KC for 2 days - so much fun!! We were treated with entertainment by Ted and Morgan -( No only kidding -wishful thinking!HA!) Seriously,we had Tarry Westley, former backup singer/writer of
Elvis! He sang for over 3 hours, and shared his story of being with him - He was personally picked by Elvis , and sang the notes Elvis couldn't reach!(how's that for an inside
trade secret!!) He's only in his 50's now, but sounds just like Elvis!! He isn't an impersonator, but just sings the songs he wrote and sang with Elvis -

ann:
A wonderful treat! He sang to every female there, putting a white scarf around our neck -he also went down to the boats,to the and neigbors gathered on the lawns to hear him - We want him for our 50th in 2012, unless we can get Ted and Morgan (I'm sure you will still be on tour - so be in KC that weekend!! )
We didn't have as many as usual(had just
had a 3 class last summer), but we are a real close class, and had a wonderful
time. Our only setback was the weather-
nearly 100 with humidity close to the same, and we were outside the whole time.As many of you are, we are in a heatwave. Unfortunately, I was busy tending to things (I was the organizer), - I ended up with heat exhaustion! (been checked by my doctor)-
Our class is very close, and we have had a reunion every 5 years since we graduated (and a few inbetween!) . We are already planning for the 50th in 2012, so Ted and Morgan be on the alert (you will probably still be touring, so be in KC that weekend!!)
One thing our class treasures are the friendships we have kept over the years - many started in K together or country schools, and then graduated together- I've been with them since the 6th grade. Friendship isn't hard to find; it's harder to keep it going over the years! So I thank you,
Ted and Morgan, for this wonderful site which is creating friendships from all over the World! Treasure every friend you have, they are as strong and true as a family member! Hold them in your heart, and pray for them, and to be safe ! Hope to be back totally soon!
Blessings to all of you! Ann

Good morning all!

I have tried to know what happened here (I mean, from the other side) and I had no answer) anyway, I think all of this tangle would have never happened if it would have been a Morgan and people involved stuff. But it´s difficult, first of all ´cause we are a lot of people here, so touched for Ted´s business, and second, and as we say here: "two person don´t argue if one of them don´t want"

So, since I know A LOT about missunderstandings (I don´t mean in NOTR only, but in all of this "Ted´s family" since I first came - perhaps the language barrier -, and I can say how sad it was) So, I hope the other side is as "stubborn" as I have always tried to be, for my reasons were understood. I think there are nothing worst than ignorance (in all his aspects)

So, look at this picture and think if he doesn´t deserve the effort for clarifying all. But perhaps not here, but privately.

I hope my words hurt to nobody, one more time, it´s not my intention, and I would rather speak about another Ted´s things in this "home".

Love to all :**

"The Book"
Artwork and Poem by E. E. Cummings
This poem reminds of the wonderful, complex personalities that come together here, forming the loving, and sometimes emotional, family bond that, like Morgan has said "lives and breaths":

Spring is like a perhaps hand
(which comes carefully
out of Nowhere)arranging
a window,into which people look(while
people stare
arranging and changing placing
carefully there a strange
thing and a known thing here)and

changing everything carefully

spring is like a perhaps
Hand in a window
(carefully to
and fro moving New and
Old things,while
people stare carefully
moving a perhaps
fraction of flower here placing
an inch of air there)and

without breaking anything.

E. E. Cummings is not easy to understand, but his idiosyncratic method of syntax and prose lends to the mystery, playfulness and honesty of the the written word.

I'll restate my former suggestion that Ted has a best seller right here-with all the love, support, pain, anguish, joy, drama, sadness, comedy and camaraderie of a script that enthralls the reader and holds their attention captive to the very end. To say that it is a page turner is an understatement.
I love all of you, especially you Ted, and will gladly ride the ebb and tide of life here, because only then is the circle truly complete.
Time to wind up the cat and put out the clock. Goodnight, all.
With all rights reserved,
Love, Deborah:)

Deborah:
P.S.
The title of Ted's book could be called "Himself".(LOL)

I would like to share this Message from the Comedian George Carlin. One of my heros...
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life but not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more but accomplish less. We've learned to rush but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods & slow digestion, big men & small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of 2 incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, 1 night stands, overweight bodies & pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window & nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, & a time when you can choose to share this insight or delete it. Remember: Spend some time with loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember to give a warm hug to the 1 next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember to say "I love you" to your partner & your loved ones, but most of all, mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside you. Remember to hold hands & cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak. And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. And always remember: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Ted
Even though there are some trying moments for you and Morgan here, you have so many things to be proud of. One is the friendships that have happened because of you. We were talking today about that, and how sad it sounded because without you we wouldn't have met in this massive world. There are some of us that have formed strong bonds because of you. So we thank you kind man for this, among all the other wonderful things you do.
With much respect
Debbie

Thought this was interesting since we are a group.

Fellowship With A Purpose
Starting A Group
Human beings, by their very nature, love to gather. Yet as much as we crave community, the rigors of real life frequently interfere with our efforts to come together with likeminded individuals. For this reason, fellowship is crucial to humanity's wellbeing now more than ever. Most towns and cities play host to a variety of small groups that allow people to congregate purposefully, but that does not mean we should not consider founding our own. When people with similar interests, ideals, or aspirations come together as a group, a community is built that provides a new dimensionality to our earthly experiences.

The formation of a group is like an invitation welcoming all those desiring companionship and camaraderie into a circle of support. You may feel driven to found a group for women, healers, knitters, readers, writers, or political activists. Rules need only be a part of your communal experience if you find that level of organization appealing, and it matters little whether your group is large, goal-oriented, or structured. When you have a firm vision of the group you wish to bring into being, hang posters, reach out to acquaintances, and get in touch with similar groups to attract participants. Groups of likeminded individuals are to some extent inherently exclusionary, being that they serve as a supportive environment in which people who have something in common can gather. Yet such groups can also transcend the boundaries that might otherwise keep people apart, The group you create will likely attract people from many different ethnic, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds, a! nd if you make these individuals feel equally welcome, your group will grow and thrive as a result.

Try to ward off any discouragement you feel when those intrigued by your group's purpose are not ready to contribute actively. They are likely waiting to see how it evolves and whether you are truly committed to serving as its heart and soul. If the group you have founded is a positive influence in the life of even a single individual, it is well worth it. Your intention to bring people together will be the seed that develops into a source of nurturance and community that stays true to its purpose long after its initial inception.

Becky:
I agree with you totally, Debbie!! I have 'met' and made some really good friends that I would never have known had I not come to this site!! That legacy alone is worth a lot, but when you add it to all of Ted's other accomplishments, you get quite an impressive list!! Thanks a million, Ted, for helping us to get to know one another, and giving us a wonderful place in which to meet and get to know one another !!

ann:
Debbie-thank you for posting this from
OM Daily!-very appropriate for us! Ted,
because of you,and Morgan's wisdom to
run this site, our World has become a
smaller place as more and more find their way here! Yes, there are some bumps along the way, but isn't that how
we grow in our journey of life? We are so blessed to have a comfortable place in your 'house' of inspiration - to share, care, love, cry, laugh, and express how much we enjoy you, and those who post here for the same reason.
Blessings and safe travels to you and yours, Ted and Morgan. As ever, Ann

Cherokee Prayer Blessing
May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.

Ted, I hope you are finding some rest and relaxation. Take comfort and strength from your family and us too. Our positive energy will hold you up.
You are appreciated more than you know. You have a good friend in Morgan too. He needs a vacation and one of your Ted hugs, lol.
I hope you found a way to get all of your "stuff" home. Did ya rent that U-Haul truck like you said? You told me that in Johnstown, I doubt you remember that but you were so funny with your driving demonstration, lol.
I am sorry there is so much tension here at times but for the most part we are a close group and are happy to be invited into your cyber home. We're kinda like the folks that come to visit and don't know when to leave . You come back and we're still here, lol but even though we tend to be impatient on some things I thank you for giving us so much of your time and I thank Leeyan, Tessa and Zack for sharing you with us and now is our time to give you your time away to be with them and you to do what makes Ted Neeley happy and I pray you are just that. You deserve it.

Da:S:
Oh how well said Heidi! Let us all give Morgan and all the parties involved in the recent drama a BIG cyber <<<<HUG>>>> and then move on back into our peaceful, loving and humerous thoughts.

Hi Ted

This is one of my fun photos from our visit to see you in Baltimore. I posted this before, but I don't know if you saw it.

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing you perform (4 times!) and meeting you at the of each performance.

Everyone is so right when they say how friendly and open you are.

I hope you are enjoying your break although I'm sure you are still very very busy.

Loving greetings to you from
Valerie and Vanessa

As Sung by Cat Stevens
lyrics by Eleanor Farjeon

Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the word

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day

MAKE it a GREAT day! Love you all! Sharon

Hi Sharon: These are truly beautiful lyrics. Did you know Cat Stevens changed his name and religion to Islam years ago and that he now is going to do some new recordings? I haven't checked out to see if he has yet, but thought you might like to know that. Thanks, Linda

Thank you for the info. I did know that. I heard him in an interview after he experienced some difficulties. I love the message expressed in these lyrics. It just ran through my mind (hahahaha) when I saw the photo. Sharon

Allyson:
Cat Stevens is now Yusuf Islam. He has a new cd out and it is wonderful, called Another Cup. He didn't play for a long time but is back playing now. I met him at UCLA during a lecture that he gave. He sang for us and it was so good to hear him again. He is a lovely man, very peaceful and kind. He quit the music business for a long time and runs some schools in London. He is back now and I am so glad. He does a lot of charity work for children and has an organization called Small Kindnesses. I have been a fan of his for a long time.

Hello Ted, Morgan and Everyone!
Congratulations on surpassing the 2000 mark! Truly amazing but not at all surprising:) Upon this milestone,
I wanted to share an interesting story that was on CNN July 27th:

MILAN, Italy (Reuters)-A new theory that Leonardo's "Last Supper" might hide a depiction of Christ blessing the bread and wine has triggered so much interest that Web sites connected to the picture have crashed.
The famous fresco is already the focus of mythical speculation after author Dan Brown based his "Da Vinci Code" book around the painting, arguing in the novel that Jesus married his follower, Mary Magdelene, and fathered a child.
Now Slavisa Pesci, an information technologist and amateur scholar, says superimposing the "Last Supper" with its mirror-image throws up another picture containing a figure who looks like a Templar knight and another holding a small baby.
"I came across it by accident, from some of the details you can infer that we are not talking about chance but about a precise calculation," Pesci told journalists when he unveiled the theory earlier this week.
Websites had 15 million hits on Thursday morning alone, organizers said, adding that they were trying to provide a more powerful server for the sites.
In the superimposed version, a figure on Christ's left appears to be cradling a baby in it's arms, Pesci said, but made no suggestion that it could be Christ's child.
Judas, whose imminent betrayal of Christ is the force breaking the right-hand line of the the original fresco, appears in an empty space on the left in the reverse image version.
And Pesci also suggests that the superimposed version shows a goblet before Christ and illustrates when Christ blessed bread and wine at a supper with his disciples for the first Eucharist.
The original Da Vinci depicts Christ when he predicts that one among them will betray him.

Just thought it was fascinating but I couldn't really see anything even when enlarged to 1.19 MB. Sorry to hear about the illegal website, Morgan. It's sad to know that someone would try to capitalize on Ted's image-you can be sure that I will wait for "the real thing"!
Hope all is well...
Love, Deborah

Dear Ted(and friends),
I hope you are enjoying your much deserved summer! The tranquil serene days are such a joy to ones soul!I found this poem that I thought you might like, here it is:
SUNSHINE AND MUSIC

A laugh is just like sunshine
It freshens all the day.
It tips the peak of life with light,
And drives the clouds away.
The soul grows glad that hears it,
And feels its courage strong.
A laugh is just like sunshine,
For cheering folks along!

A laugh is just like music,
It lingers in the heart.
And where its melody is heard,
The ills of life depart.
And happy thoughts come crowding,
Its joyful notes to greet.
A laugh is just like music
For making living sweet!
AUTHOR UNKNOWN

I thought this was so beautiful and profound! We are in charge of "making" our own laughter and music, and yes; it is contageous,so always pass it on! To share with others is a powerful gift, and it ALWAYS smiles back on you! It makes so many happy and brightens the day!Take good care of yourself,TED;and the best to your wonderful Family! GOD BLESS YOU,ALWAYS;my friends!

It's a sad day in Tampa Bay, we have lost Mike Alstott, The A-Train, of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a neck injury, he has been moved to the injured reserve list, so he is out for the season. He broke down in tears today at his disappointment in this new neck injury. Luckily for us, he will still be on the sidelines for us to see that handsome face.
Go Bucs!!

Jodie:
K - I hate when this happens.....Priest Holmes (KC Chiefs running back) is going to be back after sitting out most of last year due to an injury....I love to watch him run, but HATE to see him get tackled. What position does Alstott play?

K:
Hey Jodie,
Alstott is a full back and best known for being able to blaze right thru the defensive line, especially at the goal line. He had a similar neck injury during the 2nd game of the 2003 season against Carolina that took him out for that season. He holds a special place in my heart, being a graduate of Purdue, my alma matta. Go Boilermakers!!LOL He's been with the Buc's since 1996 and earlier today they predicted a retirement announcement but then he gets hurt instead.

Jodie:
K - Well, good luck to the Buc's this year. I'll be rooting for them unless they're playing the Chiefs, of course. (: Pre-season starts this weekend, doesn't it?

Allyson:
Isn't football where they throw that funny looking ball? Just kidding. Hope he heals soon. My dad went to Purdue.

Valerie:
Sorry about the bad news, K.
I'm going to watch as much as I can on ESPN so I will have some idea about the game when you bring that DVD up here.

K:
Yes, Jodie, our first pre-season game is tomorrow night, we play New England, so Dee and I will be screaming back and forth.(Dee, I hope your smart enough NOT to bet on a pre-season game, LOL)
Don't worry, we don't play the Chiefs this season, hahaha

San Diego is very nice but very far for Allyson's car. I might have to do the hotel thing. Wait. That's not so bad. Might be fun. Hey Mel, you up for a weekend in San Diego??

Picture didn't come through. Let's try again.

Da:S:
In a "now" moment- not thinking about the past nor worrying about the future-

Valerie:
Da: S
What a thought-provoking concept of time. Thank you.

Maria ( Spain):
What a beautiful image¡¡¡¡I remember the movie Jonathan Livington Seagull. It´s a novel that speak to us about the life, freedom, the beauty and much more.As the gull it´s necesary to want to improve the flight. Thank you for sharing it Sharon it´s wonderful. Love Maria

dA S: That's right--the here and now. How many times do we not thoroughly enjoy the "now" because of multitasking for the future. We miss a lot at times. Sharon

Linda Burgoyne:
Hi Sharon: I don't know where you find such beautiful images, but you always seem to manage to find ones that are so thought provoking. Thanks, Linda

Linda: Thank YOU! Just luck. I belong to a lot of "arts" sites and have gotten permission to post these. This one, though, really touched my heart in many ways. Sharon
